IBRAHIMOVIC ON TARGET IN DEFEAT

 

Sweden national team icon Zlatan Ibrahimovic was one of the goalscorers as his AC Milan team ended on the wrong side of a seven-goal thriller at the end of the Italian Serie A trip to Florence to face Fiorentina. Ibrahimovic scored two of the three Milan goals but it was not enough to claim at least one point thanks to the red-hot form of the highly rated Serbian striker DusanVlahovic. Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur target Vlahovicscored twice to lead Fiorentina to a 4-3 victory over Milan.

Hosts Fiorentina scored the first goal of the game on 15 minutes thanks to Ghanaian footballer Alfred Duncan. Riccardo Saponara then scored a second Fiorentina goal on the stroke of half-time to deliver a big blow to the hopes of Milan getting a win that would take them three points clear at the top of the Italian Serie A table. Saponara was able to get a goal against his former team.

MILAN HIT TORINO FOR SEVEN

Sweden football legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic was an obvious absentee as AC Milan put seven past hosts Torino to move closer to Champions League qualification. Milan are on course to return to Europe’s premier club competition almost a decade without Champions League football.

AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli had ruled out Sweden footballer Ibrahimovic from the Torino game after he picked up an injury in the 3-0 win over Juventus at the weekend. Pioli informed reporters about the update on the injury to Ibrahimovicduring his press conference ahead of the game away to Torino which the Rossoneri won 7-0.

AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed a new deal at the club that will see him play for the Italian Serie A giants beyond the age of 40.

The 39-year-old Sweden national team icon turns 40 later this year and he has signed a one-year extension to his Milan contract that was initially expected to run out this summer.

IBRAHIMOVIC BACK IN TRAINING AFTER INJURY

 

Sweden football legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic has provided a timely boost for AC Milan on the injury front after he returned to training after an injury layoff. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been one of the best players in the Italian Serie A this season even at the veteran age of 39 and his undoubtedly the push behind Milan and their quest to win the Italian Serie A title this season.


Zlatan Ibrahimovichas been missing for the Rossoneri since the Sweden striker was subbed off during the away game at Napoli. The ex-Sweden international skipper didn’t finish the game which ended in a 3-1 win for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his Milan team. Since his last appearance against Napoli towards the end of last month, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has missed the last four games in the Italian Serie A as Milan have started to falter in the bid to stay ahead of the chasing pack as far as the league table is concerned.In those three league games without the Sweden football icon, AC Milan have dropped points in two of the four matches without Zlatan, winning the other two games.

Swedish Striker Gains Title For LA Galaxy

Swedish football team has won a major accolade this year due to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the forward’s performance who has been named as Major League Soccer Newcomer for this year. He has defeated competitors like Wayne Rooney of England’s team to gain this award.

Los Angeles Galaxy showcased the Swedish striker with the header score that he did this year in July in the game against Orlando City. This was probably the score that has gained him this title. The announcement was made on Monday, November 12th. There was a balloting among players and MLS coaches where Ibrahimovic won this title along with a media panel support that was about 36.36 percent in his favor as compared to 32.25 percent that was voted in support of Rooney. Third in line was Carlos Vela of Mexico who belongs to Los Angeles FC who gained a mere vote percentage of 13.47.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic soon to leave Paris St Germain

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is likely to leave Paris St Germain before he is about to retire.

This is according to his agent, Mino Raiola, who has seen his client play for several top clubs in his career. The Swedish international is regarded as one of best strikers in the world. Even at the age of 33, he continues to be a major influence in the PSG team. This influence, though, is not expected to last for a long time since he is starting to come to the end of his career. During his status as one of top players at PSG, speculation has been intense that Zlatan may be offered a role as part of the club once he retires.

However,Raiola has opened up a wide range of speculation linking Ibrahimovic with MLS and Middle East clubs. They are the only outfits that can afford the huge salary commanded by the Swedish international. Even at this age, Ibrahimovic has contributed 15 goals in just 22 matches for PSG. The French outfit may not the top of the table, but they have only a couple of points away from taking leadership in the French Ligue One. They are also in the last 16 round of the Champions League.
