SWEDEN COACH TALKS GERMANY PROVOCATIVE CELEBRATIONS

Sweden coach JanneAndersson has opened up on the provocative celebrations of the Germans following their loss in the second group game. Sweden needed a win or a draw to favour their objective of going through to the next stage. They scored the first goal but wasted opportunities of getting another. The Germans responded in the second half and went on to win in practically the last kick of the game.

The German team celebrated the relief wildly and it angered the Swedes. Andersson has called the behavior of the German officials “scornful”, claiming “it had nothing to do with football.”
FIFA disciplinary committee has begun proceedings against Germany media co-coordinator Ulrich Voigt and the head of the backroom staff Georg Behlau for their conduct after the final whistle. The German FA (DFB) have suspended the duo for the final group fixture against South Korea on Wednesday for taunting the Swedes.
