Nice to see it played in a downpour, sorry it was artificial turf. Would have been a blast to to see this in the mud and muck. Knute Rocknye would have been smiling.

Ya US would wreck everybody but I think if Canada was to send their top team made of their proffesionals, like the Euro countries and Japan do, (although most of them are smei pro), then Canada would far and away be second place after the States of course. Canada has just as long a history as the States but we arent as good but I still think we are on another level from Japan just wish we could at least send CFL’ers (second hisghest pro football league)

Excellent video! Germany has one mean American football team. It warms my heart seeing my beloved game being played worldwide. You just got yourself a new subscriber! 🙂

  • I know the won by 3 in overtime, someone asked if the US used pros. I stated that if they did it would be a complete blowout. They took people using a strict set of guidelines that, limited who can play. the guidelines are summarized in my previous comment

  • That’s just because it’s not so popular in the rest of the world, if it was, America wouldnt’ve had a chance

Because they would completely dominate the other countries. the rule for the US were something along the lines of this: no D1 FBS players the players could not have had any affiliation with any professional team, and they couldn’t have been out of college for more than a year.

  • This is beautiful. Nothing like American Football in a heavy rain. This is awesome to see.

  • 90% of people outside America don’t even know what ‘American Football’ is.

99.99% wouldn’t know there is a so-called ‘world cup of American Football’.

other then the fact canadians have beat the americans in the past and we had a ton of players not even try out for our team canada which is a huge factor in this years outcome its like the same thing for hockey both teams compete and its only a matter of time before other countries do too

  • That’s not entirely fair.

    It is like a downpour.

I’d say they’re like D-III college players. They’re getting better.

Especially Germany. Their kids at the 2009 Jr World Championship were real good.

There are great rivalries forming between Mexico, Canada, Japan, and Germany.

USA has no rivals no matter what some Canadians want to think….

No, it’s the SENIOR world cup 2007 in Japan.

There was a Junior Eurocup 2008 in France won by the Germans.
